Digiway Automatic Door Operator

The DIGIWAY automatic door operator from the CDVI Group is a self contained unit for motorised opening and closing of single and double leaf doors. The unit is mains electricity powered but contains a battery backup for 600 operations in the event of a power cut.

The DIGIWAY features self learning operation and has a built in radio receiver for additional radio control use. The system can be triggered by a simple push button or from any access control system. Additionally, an electric lock can be added and controlled by the DIGIWAY unit.

The DIGIWAY is a medium duty use rated unit allowing up to 600 operations a day.

When double leaf rebated doors are required to be automated two units can be used in conjunction via the simple two wire coupling which controls the opening and closing sequences logically for both leaves.

Logical connections exist for lock control, emergency stop and operation start.

The DIGIWAY unit has controls for opening speed, closing speed and open before close pause.

Current sensing is incorporated in the unit in the event of obstacles in the opening and closing sequence. An override switch is included to turn the unit off, keep open and normal automatic operation. There is also a Push & Go feature will allows a small light pressure to be applied to the door start the automated opening sequence.

Digiway is a new and innovative automatic door operator for single action swing doors. From concept to completion has taken over 2 years, and resulted in a cost effective, high performance operator with a host of features.

Digiway is supplied in two models, complete with a sliding arm for inward opening doors, or an articulated arm for outward opening doors.

Where double doors require automation, a kit is supplied with a “filler” housing between the two units for aesthetics - additionally, a unique wireless communication between the two units ensures that the correct order of opening/closing is maintained.

High quality components, sturdy stainless steel mechanics and a test procedure in excess of 1.5 million cycles ensures that Digiway will complete it’s door automation tasks in a positive and efficient manner.
