Fermax 2443 MDS Direct/City 1 Access Switcher

Switcher module for MDS CITY/DIRECT installations with more than one video access. Its purpose is to connect the home monitor with the panel where the call is being made from.

One switcher is required for each additional video door entry access.

Small size allows installation in electrical cabinets. Can be flush-fit in standard boxes 10x10 cm. With adhesive strips for fixing, or may be screwed directly onto the wall.

MDS City system: Simplified BUS installation audio and video door entry system.
Recommended for.
- Individual buildings: Up to 99 homes, 5 accesses (between audio and video panels) and 1 central guard unit or 9 accesses if there is no central guard unit. As the panel is pushbutton, it is recommended for buildings of less than 50 houses.
- In residential complexes: as interior blocks of up to 99 houses in combination with MDS Digital or Direct systems as general entrances.

VIDEO INPUT 1 (V). Video connection from panel 1.
VIDEO INPUT 2 (Vi). Video connection from panel 2.
VIDEO OUTPUT to the monitors in the installation.

Power supply:
- Audio: 12 Vdc
- Video: 18 VdcPushbutton panels. No Central Guard Unit required. Cannot act as general entrance.

MDS systems require floor Decoders to connect the homes to the installation BUS and act as insulators. Home-panel communication is private.

Wiring:
- Audio: 6-wire bus.
- Video: audio bus + Coaxial (video) + 2 power supply wires.
