The Scantronic 430 Pet Tolerant Digital indoor motion detector uses Passive Infra Red (PIR) technology to detect movement of body heat to activate the alarm in the event of an intrusion.

The 430 detector is ideal for premises with pets, as it is tolerant to animals weighing up to 38 kg (85lbs). Designed to fit perfectly with any décor, the 430 is stylish and compact, extremely robust and very discreet.

The Scantronic 430 Pet Tolerant detector uses the latest digital technology and represents the future in signal processing and optical lens technology to lead the industry in detection accuracy, false alarm immunity and ultimate reliability.

The 430 detector uses modern techniques which eliminate the many types of interference that affect reliability of traditional detectors to guarantee superior long term performance and dramatically reduce false alarms.

The Scantronic 430 Pet Tolerant detector features a cylindrical lens with uniform detection sensitivity up to a distance of 12 metres (40ft). In addition the 430 features Target Specific Imaging TMR technology for distinction between humans and pets.

Fully sealed optics provide protection against draught, dust and insect ingress, offering a high level of environmental immunity and reducing the burden from repeated false alarms.
