CIP12-DR Audio Door Entry via PSTN

The CIP-12 is a telephone entry system which connects directly to a dedicated telephone line or PABX
extension.

CIP-12DR series are simple to install and use and have the capacity to connect upto 12 remote telephone numbers. Each number can have a night-time divert, this is actuated by an optional timer. The system can be ordered with 1 to 12 buttons, as flush or surface and has the option of an integrated keypad or proximity reader.

CIP-12DR can be supplied in a variety of models. Up to 12 buttons with integral keypad (as shown) or proximity system, or in a customer specific housing with 3rd party readers if required.

Programming is achieved by “dialling-in” to the CIP controller from a remote telephone, and entering a series of commands via the telephone handset - if numbers are required to be changed, this is done very quickly and easily.
The unit has a timer input for switching from day to night numbers, and there are 2 relays available - one for the door lock and one which could operate an external light for example. Both relays are triggered by depressing the relevant buttons on the telephone handset.

Once installed, the unit is programmed via a telephone. The is a 12-channel unit, therefore the system can be supplied with 1 button to call 1 number, or up to 12 buttons to call 12 numbers - each channel has the capability of having a “night service” number, so after office hours an alternative number will be automatically contacted (this service triggered via a timer).

Door release is initiated from the receiving handset (traditional or mobile), and the system can be programmed with various options on answer - 2 relays are available to switch from the handset.

The optional integration of a keypad or proximity system needs to be specified at the time of order, as the panel size depends on the options required.

The product codes for adding the options are suffixed to the CIP-12DR codes, and are as follows:

-CBB Integrated 100-user keypad with 3 relay outputs
-CAA/SEK Integrated 100-user keypad with 3 relay outputs - backlit
-PROX Integrated proximity reader (DGLP-T) c/w PROMI-500 controller
