When used with the supplied Solo extension pole, simply reach up and test smoke or carbon monoxide detectors, place the cup over the detector head which seals against the ceiling, trigger the smoke canister which releases the required smoke to activate the detector, alternately change the head and remove/replace detectors, in addition, fit the battery powered heat detector test head and use to test heat detectors, clean and safe to use.
