Hochiki Addressable Sounder Indicator Range

Audio visual devices allow full integration and the flexibility of being loop-powered and controlled from the attached control panel.

The ESP Audio Visual Range consists of:

YBO-BS Loop Powered Sounder Base

Model YBO-BS is an addressable loop powered Base Sounder designed to give a range of tones and volumes with a maximum output of up to 98dB(A) (±2dB(A)) with low current consumption. 

The unit is designed to fit to the Standard Base (YBN-R/3) or the Isolator Base (YBO-R/SCI – from Batch Number 6044) and can be fitted with any of the ESP Range of Sensors, Beacons or Remote Indicators.   

The sounder is Ingress Protection rated to IP21 and for internal use only.  The unit is addressed via the TCH-B100 ESP Device Programmer.

SI-CAP Sounder & Isolator cover

The SI/CAP clip on cover has been designed for use with the YBO-BS Base Sounder, the YBO-BSB Base Sounder Beacon and the YBO-R/SCI Short-Circuit Isolator base.

All of these bases can have an ESP Sensor, Beacon or Remote Indicator mounted.  If none of these devices are required, the SI/CAP cover can be fitted which hides and protects the mounting  metalwork and wiring terminals.

YBO-BSB Loop Powered Base Sounder Beacon

Model YBO-BSB is an addressable loop powered Base Sounder with integral Beacon, designed to give a range of tones and volumes with a maximum output of up to 98dB(A) (±2dB(A)) with low current consumption. 

The unit fits to the Standard Base (YBN-R/3) or the Isolator Base (YBO-R/SCI - from Batch Number 6044) and can be fitted with any of the ESP Range of Sensors, Beacons or Remote Indicators.  The unit can also be converted into a wall sounder beacon with the simple addition of a Cap (SI/CAP).  An Auto-Shutdown feature  prevents noise pollution*. Sounder and Beacon elements can be operated independently from each other*.  (Shown with an ACA-E Multi-Sensor fitted - not supplied).

CHQ-AB Loop Powered Addressable Beacon

The CHQ-AB range consists of addressable loop-powered Beacons, which are fully compatible with Hochiki's ESP Range of Bases. 

The Beacons have the ability to be turned on very quickly using a group command and are synchronised to flash at the same time.  The innovative high-intensity LEDs and lens design produces a highly visible flash whilst the casing exactly matches the Hochiki ESP Sensor range in shape and colour providing seamless integration.  Lenses are available in red (CHQ-AB(RED)), amber (CHQ-AB(AMB)) or blue (CHQ-AB(BLU)).

Can be used on Standard ESP Base (YBN-R/3), Base Sounder (CHQ-BS) or the Short-Circuit Isolator Base (YBO-R/SCI).

CHQ-ARI Loop Powered Remote Indicator

The CHQ-ARI(CLR) is an addressable loop-powered Remote Indicator, with high-intensity LEDs and a Fresnel lens design which produces a highly visible signal.

The casing exactly matches the Hochiki ESP Sensor range in shape and colour providing seamless integration.  

The unit can be used on the Standard ESP Base (YBN-R/3), the Base Sounder (CHQ-BS) or the Short-Circuit Isolator Base (YBO-R/SCI).

CHG-WS2 Loop Powered Wall Mount Sounder

Model CHQ-WS2 is an addressable loop powered Wall Sounder innovatively designed to provide a range of tones and volumes with a maximum output of up to 102dB(A) (±2dB(A)) with low current consumption.

The unit is designed to fit to the Standard Base (YBO-R/3(RED)) or the Isolator Base (YBO-R/SCI(RED)). 

The sounder is IP rated to IP21 for internal use but it can be made weatherproof by utilising the WS2-WPK Weatherproof Kit, which consists of a specialised back box and gasket set.

 WS2-WPK Wall Sounder Weatherproofing Kit

WS2-WPK is a weatherproofing kit specially designed for the CHQ-WS2 Wall Sounder.  

The WS2-WPK consists of a back box and two gaskets and will increase the IP Rating of the standard CHQ-WS2 from IP21 to IP65.

YBN-R3 Detector Base - (Sold separately)

Model YBN-R/3 is a Common Mounting Base, which is fully compatible with Hochiki’s ESP range of sensors.

It is supplied with square cable clamps for secure and reliable cable termination and is also capable of driving a remote LED if required.

YBO-R/SCI Short Circuit Isolator Base

Model YBO-R/SCI is a Loop Isolator, which is fully compatible with Hochiki’s ESP analogue addressable protocol.

The YBO-R/SCI Base is compatible with any of the ESP Sensors, and can be used instead of the standard YBN-R/3 Base, this reduces the cost of the Short Circuit Isolators and improves the functionality.  The Base incorporates an amber LED to show when it is isolating a section of the loop. 

The YBO-R/SCI does not use an address, and can also be used without a Sensor; a clip on cover can be fitted to conceal the wiring connections.
