The 8000 series of modules features improved weather protection with its stainless steel exterior and high quality electronics. An audio unit without a button is used on a multiple module door entry panel and enables audio communication between the panel and the connected handset or handsets. The module uses 3+N wiring, meaning three wires and one for the handset.
