Due to the fact that Duox is a digital system, the type of cable has much less influence on the quality and the running of the system compared to other analogue systems of the market.
To reach the longest distances, we recommend to use a 2x1 mm2 parallel cable. (Fermax cable ref.5925).
Duox system operates on two wires from the start to the end of the installation.
In refurbishment installations, Duox can be installed on the existing cable. 4+N, 1+N, 2 wire bells, Parallel 0,2 mm2
Duox can work with a large variety of cables. Parallel cable, twisted pair 1mm2, AWG18, AWG20, AWG22, AWG24, UTP CAT5
Errors are avoided because the 2 wires can be inverted.
